First off, just let me say, the cuteness of the entire image is very sweet. It has an immediately colorful impact which is nice on the eyes.

As for the image itself, I would like to point out that based on the position the character is in, it may be a bit more natural for the elbow to bend a little more to the side, versus pushing straight as if pushing off the ground, like you have it. The harshness of the shading, kind of makes it a little bright, as your eyes are drawn to the bits of details, and can lead away from the overall image. It gives it an incomplete look, in some ways. You can soften this by blending the edges of your shading with the main coloring. This will soften the over all look, but still maintain the colors you might want.

The strings seems to defy gravity, but raising up. They should dangle straighter down, and then mold to depending on where they touch the body, as if they have weight. The mouth seems rather small in comparison to the face, as the eyes while rounded, might be better slightly smaller, so as better to fit the face, and not give her such a strikingly wide eyed expression.

The tree could be filled in with more details for the branches, depending on the program you use, by carefully using the curve or pen tool, and then adjusting the strokes for the bristles in different directions from the main branch. Look at stock references of Pine trees , and study the shape, and you'll likely see what I mean better. Another tip would be to make the branches less round and more pointed.

Hope this helps!
